Requirements

Engineering background
Proficiency in PLC programming
Experience with highly automated warehouse environments and equipment (e.g., automated storage/retrieval systems, conveyors, scanners, truck loading systems)
Skills in equipment troubleshooting, assessments, and maintenance
Ability to commission new automation systems (e.g., ADP)
Knowledge of Operations Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) integration, including systems, software, and applications
Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams, operations, suppliers, and vendors

Responsibilities

Ensure the reliability and optimal performance of critical equipment in a highly automated warehouse environment
Contribute to the commissioning of the Automatic Dead-Pile Loading and Unloading System (ADP) – the first of its kind in P&G globally
Program all necessary stacking patterns into the PLC for the ADP system
Maintain equipment reliability through regular assessments and troubleshooting
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing equipment KPIs, including ADP performance, conveyor scanner efficiency, pallet throughput on conveyors, and automated truck loading systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions
Act as a liaison between the Operations Technology (OT) team and the Information Technology (IT) team, managing systems, software, and applications critical to warehouse operations
Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions
