Responsibilities

As a Payroll Specialist Lead, the individual will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing in the United Arab Emirates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while managing key stakeholder relationships across Finance, Product, and Engineering. Key responsibilities include processing full end-to-end payroll, statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, and payments, ensuring compliance with DMCC, MOL, or WPS requirements, maintaining data integrity, focusing on KPIs and SLAs, implementing and improving processes, mentoring payroll specialists, and backing up regional managers during absences. They will also act as a subject matter expert for the country and manage existing relationships with stakeholders.
