Candidates should possess in-house payroll management or equivalent experience leading the full end-to-end processing of UAE payroll, with hands-on experience specifically with DMCC, MOL, or WPS workflows. They must demonstrate knowledge of payroll best practices, proficiency in using software tools like SAP and Excel/Google Sheets, and possess an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required, and experience working remotely is considered a plus.
As a Payroll Specialist Lead, the individual will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing in the United Arab Emirates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while managing key stakeholder relationships across Finance, Product, and Engineering. Key responsibilities include processing full end-to-end payroll, statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, and payments, ensuring compliance with DMCC, MOL, or WPS requirements, maintaining data integrity, focusing on KPIs and SLAs, implementing and improving processes, mentoring payroll specialists, and backing up regional managers during absences. They will also act as a subject matter expert for the country and manage existing relationships with stakeholders.
