Requirements

  • Experience in processing international payrolls and working within global payroll services and teams
  • English / German / French / Spanish / Portuguese speaker
  • Ability to complete work assignments within required time constraints and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to take responsibility for the team's work during the absence of the payroll manager

Responsibilities

  • Deliver payroll processes and procedures
  • Deliver high-quality customer service
  • Manage questions from employees, outsource suppliers and internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as escalation point in case of Payroll Manager absence
  • Manage and control vendor relationship, to provide accurate and timely processing of the monthly/bi-monthly/weekly payroll for countries in scope of responsibility
  • Review accuracy and completeness of payroll data which needs to be processed
  • Control payroll results delivered by payroll vendors, manage timely approvals and payment processing by relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships through effective and timely communication with internal and external customers
  • Commit to the existing payroll processes, procedures and policies and suggest changes for improving the responsiveness, efficiency and accuracy
  • Actively participate in the scheduled transition projects
  • Act as a backup to other Payroll Specialists
  • Act as a backup to Payroll Manager
