Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of payroll or HR administration experience, preferably in an outsourced/vendor-managed model
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong command of English (C1 level or higher); knowledge of another European language is a plus
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes, including those involving international assignees
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Preferred
  • Experience with payroll in Austria, Germany, or the Netherlands
  • Familiarity with Workday or other payroll systems
  • Experience with payroll vendor transitions or Global Mobility

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing (monthly, yearly) for assigned EMEA countries
  • Maintain and update payroll records (Joiners/Leavers/Changes), including payroll master data
  • Handle payroll interface files (import/export) and variable wage components (bonuses, hours, holidays, etc.)
  • Administer processing of allowances, deductions, and annual bonus/merit cycles
  • Process monthly and yearly payroll reporting (e.g., Tax Office, Pension Fund), and provide input for Finance teams
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls, local operational controls, and support internal/external audits
  • Act as a point of escalation for payroll-related employee queries
  • Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes and systems
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence
