Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field and have at least 4 years of payroll and HR experience in Brazil. A strong working knowledge of Brazilian payroll and HR regulations and policies is required, along with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Advanced English proficiency is mandatory, and strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The Payroll Expert will ensure accurate and timely payroll execution in Brazil and other trained countries, preparing and reconciling internal payroll reports for compliance with local tax authorities. They will manage critical local payroll and HR processes, including setting up involuntary deductions and supporting employee onboarding and offboarding. The role involves scheduling and reconciling payroll expense collections, assessing and improving processes for rapid growth, and staying informed of relevant local regulatory and policy changes. Additionally, the expert will communicate key changes across teams, provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters, and answer complex payroll and HR-related questions from employees and clients.
