The ideal candidate has expertise in customer-facing roles such as CSM or Account Management within the international Payroll/HR tech space, ideally in a payroll product and tech-focused environment. Strong knowledge of global payroll software, systems, and tools, with an understanding of HR/payroll compliance and regulations is required. Proven ability to onboard, grow, retain, and develop customer relationships, driving customer satisfaction and success is essential. Skilled in building strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of customer and internal organizations to align on business goals is necessary. Experience leading and executing cross-departmental projects, with solid organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously is needed. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving customer issues and delivering tailored solutions are important. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
The Payroll Customer Success Manager will develop a deep understanding and expertise in Remote Payroll and HRIS products and services. They will take responsibility for the entire customer journey, focusing on growing payroll customers into long-term partners and owning client retention and expansion within payroll products and services. This role involves identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, managing campaigns, promoting products, and introducing new payroll features. The manager will monitor customer complaints, provide assistance to solve concerns related to Global Payroll and HRIS products, and gather customer feedback to share with relevant teams for product and customer experience enhancements. They will collaborate with Payroll and Sales teams to ensure accurate customer expectations are set, educate and train customers on key payroll information and processes, and monitor account and customer health to prevent churn and manage escalations, particularly those related to payroll issues.
