Requirements

Bachelor's degree in commerce/finance or other related fields
Minimum of 5 years of payroll operational experience across multiple industries operating in India
Experience as a key team member in a company with more than 1000 headcount
Attention to detail, professional awareness, and sense of urgency for employee questions; ability to spot errors or exceptions quickly
Strong experience with Microsoft Office
Excellent communicator and collaborator
SAP / Workday experience desired
Strada/Alight system experience a plus

Responsibilities

Monthly payroll processing activities, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, completely, and in compliance with all regulations
Deliver all year-end payroll processes
Identify and recommend process improvements to the current payroll process and systems
Ensure all SOX compliant controls relevant to the payroll process are executed
Support with internal and external audit and tax-related activities, including preparation of data and evidence as required
Support with Finance and HR queries
Build positive relationships to ensure successful collaborations to respond to internal payroll questions and handle ad-hoc payroll requests
Support with payroll and ad-hoc reports as required
Other duties as assigned
