Requirements
Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and be certified as a Patient Care Technician (PCT). Prior experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in dialysis or related medical services, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
Responsibilities
The Patient Care Technician will provide direct patient care during hemodialysis treatments, including vital sign monitoring, vascular access assessment, and assisting with dialysis procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They will also be responsible for documenting patient information, collecting specimens, and ensuring a safe and clean treatment environment, while actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to established policies and procedures.
