Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand 8-10 hours a day
- Willingness to work in a meat environment with blood, fat, bones, hair, and other cattle products
- Willingness to work in extreme hot and wet conditions with temperatures ranging from 33-100 degrees
- Ability to complete all required training for the job
- Availability for A Shift: 5:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, including Saturdays
- Availability for overtime, including weekends
- Proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
- Ability to pass a urinalysis screening as part of post-offer health assessment
- Ability to perform position tasks
Responsibilities
- Work in any position in the Hides department
- Retrieve cured cow hides from a brine tank and hang them
- Fold, lift, carry, and palletize hides
- Use powered equipment and knives as required
- Perform any other duties as assigned
