Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in sales roles and at least 4 years in partner management
  • A solid understanding of manufacturing and key success metrics, as the role requires the ability to demonstrate the ROI of any proposed solution
  • Be willing to travel

Responsibilities

  • Provide partner recruiting, enablement and management guidance in assigned territory
  • Handle performance management of assigned partner relationships with agreed goals, targets and business reviews
  • Work with partners to ensure data integrity and visibility around deal lifecycle from registration through to revenue tracking
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts
  • Lead joint partner planning processes that develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Lead the partner performance review process to ensure performance is in line with annual objectives and targets and to identify corrective actions where necessary
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis
  • Drive mutually beneficial marketing initiatives to promote market awareness and create opportunities
  • Manage potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel
  • Closely coordinate company executive involvement with partner and end-user customer management as appropriate
  • Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution
  • Advise on partner compliance with partner agreements
  • Drive adoption of company programs among assigned partners
