Requirements

  • Typically 6-8 years of related experience in IT/system requirements/business operations and 3 years of project management experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of HPE operational processes, industry trends, and customer/partner requirements (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office tools expertise
  • Experience on system deployment and transformation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills (written, verbal, presentation)
  • Knowledge of domain/process area and experience with process improvement projects with ability to provide suggestions for process improvements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, project management, and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced understanding of system architecture and knowledge of software development concepts
  • Deep understanding of the business processes behind the applications
  • Ability to prioritize, escalate, and lead efforts on complex customer requests
  • Experience working with agile teams on complex projects including Product functional Backlog Management and effective backlog prioritization

Responsibilities

  • Represent the needs of the business for the process and capability across multiple countries and collaborate with operational teams, IT, and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, support the design, and execute the vision
  • Define the vision – the ‘what’ and ‘why’ – based on Strategic business outcomes (EBOs) and collaborate with IT to deliver on the EBOs
  • Be a self-starter needing minimal supervision on medium to large scale projects
  • Engage with business stakeholders and IT to ensure business requirements are captured and assigned
  • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards; work with IT on system requirements to provide sign-off
  • Effectively lead the elicitation and documentation of system requirements (including business rules) and process specifics to accomplish expected business outcomes
  • Lead ongoing capabilities, including accountability for break/fix and enhancement
  • Lead the design review, UAT & MTP, execution and sign-off, and MOC facilitation including WW baseline determination
  • Manage the Change Request (CR) tracker
  • Maintain asset roadmap (POA, CR, RBE, L4 Request)
  • Hold accountability to stakeholders on both system design and the process
  • Review accomplishment of expected business outcomes post deployment
  • Coordinate with IT development teams to manage the development process and resolve issues
  • Contribute to the creation of standardized processes and best practices
  • Ensure validation of system functionalities and sign-off
  • Collaborate with Project Manager in planning and executing assigned projects
  • Evaluate business metrics and provide recommendations for future projects
  • Provide inputs to domain budgeting and planning process
  • Enable close loop corrective actions to bridge gaps, if any
