Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, and have at least six years of experience as a paralegal supporting litigation or dispute resolution. They should have working knowledge of state and federal litigation procedure, standard contractual language, and prior experience handling litigation matters within a corporate environment or law firm is preferred.
The Litigation and Risk Paralegal will investigate and respond to escalated pre-litigation disputes and regulatory inquiries by drafting responses to consumer complaints and regulatory inquiries, developing and maintaining templates for escalated dispute letters, and managing processes and policies for handling escalated disputes. Additionally, they will assist with fact investigation for ongoing litigation, prepare and maintain electronic data for document production, and maintain electronic records of litigation matters within Angi’s matter management system.
