Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals
  • Must be willing and able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
  • Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours
  • This facility does not accept rehires
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Set up equipment/work area in preparation for startup
  • Fill and make boxes
  • Adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies
  • Pick up empty boxes from the conveyor line and quickly pack with product
  • Hand make boxes as needed for certain products
  • Check product going into boxes to assure all quality characteristics are met
  • Make decisions and act on material to be used
  • Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor
  • Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent
  • Clean up area at end of production shift, including sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas
  • All other duties as assigned
