High school diploma or equivalent
Confirmed leadership experience or training
3+ years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment (preferred)
Previous experience as a group leader or lead operator in packaging or manufacturing (helpful)
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
Compliance with Cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc.)
Ability to stand for full shift
Tolerance for laboratory and warehouse environmental conditions
Use of PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Responsibilities

Lead the team in promoting premier safety
Cultivate a right first-time quality mentality by leading investigations into process failures and product failures
Identify and implement suitable measures for correction and prevention
Assist in defining efficiency performance benchmarks and attaining results to fulfill organizational objectives
Optimally review metrics to benchmark and drive team performance
Recommend and coordinate improvement activities for production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
Implement Practical Process Improvements (PPI) with significant team member participation and enthusiasm, and apply lean methodologies to achieve process efficiencies
Work alongside team members and planning/purchasing teams to develop and implement a manufacturing schedule to meet customer demands
Participate in internal and external audits, respond to audit observations, identify, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions
Ensure coordination and administration of training sessions as required, based on new SOPs and revisions to existing SOPs
Coordinate a team of operators to achieve results in day-to-day operations
Aid in coordinating career development plans, promote continuous improvement, uphold outstanding quality for customers, and cultivate cross-functional relationships to accomplish department objectives
Collaborate in improving overall safety, delivery, and facilitate cost-saving projects throughout the department
