Candidates should possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree. A minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred, particularly in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities
The Outpatient Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing and coordinating clinically competent care to assigned patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This role involves delegation of tasks to other healthcare staff, monitoring patient data during hemodialysis treatment, making adjustments to treatment plans, and documenting patient information accurately. The nurse will also administer medications, initiate emergency response measures, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care outcomes. Furthermore, they will ensure correct laboratory procedures are followed and participate in staff training and quality improvement activities.
