The RN works as part of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) health care team, collaborating with direct patient care staff including RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, under the direction of a Supervisor and with guidance from Clinical Educator or Preceptor.
A strong candidate is a professional registered nurse ready for entry-level into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP), capable of independent patient care coordination, hemodialysis therapy delivery, and completing CAP requirements to advance.
