Requirements
Candidates should possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent experience. On-the-job training will be provided, and prior dialysis experience is not required.
Responsibilities
The Outpatient Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing and coordinating clinically competent care to assigned patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This role involves monitoring patient data, making treatment adjustments, educating patients and families, administering medications, initiating emergency response measures, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations. They will also participate in staff training and orientation, ensuring correct laboratory procedures are followed, and addressing patient awareness related to transplant and treatment options.
