Requirements

  • Ability to perform repetitive and non-repetitive tasks on the manufacturing line
  • Ability to operate general manufacturing equipment such as cutting machines, microscopes, comparators, optical benches
  • Ability to operate, set up, and adjust parameters of manufacturing machines/equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations and procedures
  • Ability to maintain work area clean, sanitized, and organized (FIFO, KANBAN, 5'S program)
  • Ability to participate in training per the training plan
  • Ability to participate in team meetings, problem solving, and data analysis
  • Ability to document production orders, quantities, materials accepted/rejected, and order history accurately
  • Ability to verify documentation in production orders for accuracy
  • Ability to complete transactions and reports in the manufacturing system (production orders, daily reports, down-time logs)

Responsibilities

  • Operate different equipment ensuring compliance with GMP regulations, procedures, and specifications for manufacturing, inspecting, and verifying units
  • Ensure equipment has preventive maintenance and calibrations in compliance
  • Maintain work area clean by sanitizing adequately and organized per FIFO, KANBAN, and 5'S program
  • Adhere to environmental policy, procedures, and support department environmental objectives
  • Train on operations established in the training plan
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute to problem solving, and data analysis
  • Document in production orders quantities of units and materials accepted/rejected, complete necessary forms for order history, and verify documentation accuracy
  • Document in line logs as per procedures
  • Complete production order transactions in the manufacturing system for units and materials accepted/rejected
  • Complete daily report of units produced by process in the manufacturing system
  • Complete down-time log in the manufacturing system, stating reasons for impacts on output
