Responsibilities
Supervise a team of Lead Operators, Operators and/or General Laborers to ensure efficient landfill operation
Ensure adherence to fill sequencing plans, achievement of density goals, and operation consistent with applicable permits
Work with Operations Manager and General Manager to implement tactical initiatives for functional excellence and budget achievement
Ensure adherence to all accident prevention programs and lead operations to comply with safety, environmental, operating, regulatory, accounting, ethics, and other standards
Execute and deliver Safety, Customer Experience, and Efficiency while supporting employee engagement culture
Understand and provide leadership to achieve and communicate safety goals; remove unsafe conditions; partner with maintenance for equipment safety and compliance; oversee safety and accident prevention programs
Provide service meeting or exceeding customer expectations; resolve service requests, breakdowns, and changes with timely communications; interact with customers to solve issues and improve experience; represent company positively
Establish productivity goals; ensure adherence to operating standards; manage labor hours and disposal expenses per plans; execute operational plans to achieve budgeted goals; support service delivery, maintenance, and fleet quality
