Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to effectively communicate (electronically, written and verbal)
Flexibility - the ability to troubleshoot and triage challenges
Computer proficiency (desktop software, MS office)
Must pass a vision exam and be free of color blindness
Must be equivalent to 20/20 correctable close vision acuity
Ability to wear safety equipment (glasses, shoes, gloves, etc)
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on nights (2-2-3 schedule)

Responsibilities

Support start up activities during the project phase to bring the area into service
Become the experts within assigned area and educate team in proper operation of the facility
Lead training of new staff (Expert and Lead roles)
Run the process, troubleshoot, collaborate cross-functionally, and hold all to safety first / quality always mindset after project phase
Coordinate daily activities to meet capacity plans while developing own and team’s capabilities (Expert and Lead roles)
Provide leadership on manufacturing floor ensuring high level of safety, quality, and productivity to maintain reliable supply of products
Maintain a safe work environment, exemplify safe working practices, and support HSE goals
Act as administrator and technical leader for operations, set example through knowledge of procedures, compliance with quality systems, and teaching proper techniques
Serve as key resource for troubleshooting and primary point of contact for issue escalation on the shop floor
Administer technical training and ensure all operators are trained to perform tasks
Operate equipment and perform activities to meet production schedule
Assist in checking execution documentation (Electronic Batch Record, SAP, Cleaning Logs)
Drive departmental objectives including improving safety performance, reducing deviations, improving productivity, and training compliance
Support Site Leadership by delivering area operational procedures, quality processes and controls (Lead role)
Assist Supervisor in development and performance evaluations of shift operators and act as backup for Supervisor (Lead role)
Act as key liaison between operations and support functions
