Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of work experience in manufacturing/production, operations, or lab setting (pharma preferred); equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered
  • Excels in a team environment
  • Basic math skills
  • Good verbal/written communication
  • Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product
  • Ability to perform repetitive work duties
  • Ability to work in a clean-room environment (controlled temperature/humidity, low noise)
  • Ability to wear gowning (gloves, hair/beard net, face cover, safety glasses, no makeup/jewelry)
  • Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene
  • Ability to infrequently lift and manipulate up to 25 pounds unassisted (light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds)
  • Ability to stand and move about for full shift, including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping; ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety Standards, Cleanroom protocols (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair)

Responsibilities

  • Ensures pharmaceutical products are manufactured in accordance with area SOPs and current cGMP
  • Verify and document production activities in batch records, logbooks, and controlled forms
  • Operate vial tray loaders
  • Perform filter integrity testing
  • Clean pre and post use change parts and prep for sterilization
  • Maintain/clean classified and non-classified areas (including aseptic core)
  • Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements
  • Drive a culture of safety and quality in all activities
  • Perform visual inspections on in-process and finished products and call out inconsistencies
  • Work with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling product
