Responsibilities

  • Support start-up activities during the project phase to bring the area into service
  • Become the expert within the assigned area and educate the team on proper operation of the facility
  • Lead training of new staff (Expert and Lead roles)
  • Run the process, troubleshoot issues, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure continuous supply of medicines with a safety first / quality always mindset
  • Coordinate daily activities to meet capacity plans and develop personal and team capabilities
  • Provide leadership on the manufacturing floor to ensure high levels of safety, quality, and productivity
  • Maintain a safe work environment, exemplify safe practices, and support HSE goals
  • Act as administrator and technical leader for operations, setting examples through knowledge and compliance
  • Serve as key resource for troubleshooting and primary point of contact for issue escalation on the shop floor
  • Administer technical training and ensure all operators are trained to perform tasks
  • Operate equipment and perform activities to meet production schedules
  • Assist in checking execution documentation (Electronic Batch Record, SAP, Cleaning Logs)
  • Drive departmental objectives including improving safety performance, reducing deviations, improving productivity, and training compliance
  • Support Site Leadership to build a diverse and capable organization by delivering operational procedures, quality processes, and controls (Lead role)
  • Assist Supervisor in development (Lead role)
