Responsibilities

  • Supervise team members in the value stream for quality, safety, housekeeping, production schedule adherence, scrap minimization, and line efficiencies
  • Manage conversion of materials into quality products safely, securely, and sanitarily
  • Implement changes as a change agent to meet line/area objectives
  • Collaborate with Value Stream Team on reliability strategy
  • Coach team members on functional/leadership capabilities, safety, quality, food safety, autonomous maintenance, and engagement
  • Coordinate materials, staffing, and resources for line operations and changeovers
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to standard work through communication, change management, and accountability
  • Ensure team member safety through programs and focus on behaviors/mindsets
  • Ensure production of safe, defect-free products and champion quality goals/training
  • Manage team member relations, hiring, training, retraining, development, and motivation
  • Facilitate high team member engagement
  • Set goals, measure performance, control, take corrective action, and report results
  • Utilize resources for preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
  • Identify risks/opportunities, lead incident resolution, prioritize/assign resources for escalations
  • Participate in operations improvement strategies
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition for recruiting and onboarding team members
