Requirements

  • BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
  • Internship experience preferred
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Self-motivation and organizational skills
  • Ability to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (primarily used for email and phone calls)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • An aim to broaden one’s knowledge of the financial services industry by learning new concepts and systems
  • Taking the initiative to apply new knowledge to daily work assignments

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding investors into clients’ hedge and private equity funds, ensuring all necessary data and documentation is received during subscriptions
  • Input relevant data points into the contact management system to facilitate investor reporting
  • Enforce AML policies and procedures when reviewing investor transactions
  • Supervise clients’ bank accounts for investor wire activity
  • Create wire templates to facilitate investor payments
  • Generate and reconcile investor reporting, such as investor capital statements
  • Disseminate approved investor reporting to clients’ end investors and contacts via an automated distribution process
  • Correspond with investment managers and investors regarding day-to-day inquiries, including questions on subscription documents and investor reporting
  • Attend and participate in IMS and corporate professional development sessions to identify process improvements and grow career
