The position is field-based and requires on-site work at assigned accounts in Lansing, MI, including support on various shifts and potential travel to other accounts.
A Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or equivalent certifications are preferred. For Specialists in Sterile Processing Department, HSPA CRCST Certification is required within 6 months of start date with yearly renewal.
Operating Room experience with knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures, and techniques is preferred, along with basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly in high-stress situations.
The role requires providing support on all shifts at the assigned account, including on-call, overnight, and weekends, with possible coverage at other accounts requiring overnight travel; shifts may change without notice based on account needs and may include rotating shifts.
Candidates with prior Operating Room experience, knowledge of surgical procedures, troubleshooting skills in high-stress environments, strong communication and organizational abilities, and flexibility for varying shifts and travel will stand out.
