Requirements

  • Field-based role located in the Minneapolis, MN territory (including St. Cloud)
  • Working knowledge of oncology products' clinical efficacy
  • Ability to fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics
  • Ability to achieve sales quota
  • Skills in conducting business analysis and actively prospecting for new business
  • Ability to develop account strategies with District Manager to increase sales (e.g., identify key accounts, HCPs, develop penetration plans)
  • Ability to develop customer-specific pre- and post-call plans with objectives, probes, and supporting materials
  • Strong knowledge of assigned specialty products and related markets (clinical, technical, health economics)
  • Complete understanding of the health care delivery system within assigned accounts (physician hierarchy, key pharmacy personnel, clinical nursing staff)
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, short- and long-term sales potential (patient mix, Managed Care organizations, Specialty Pharmacies, new protocols/treatment modalities)
  • Ability to attend and participate in all required sales meetings
  • Completion of all required training curriculum in a timely manner and achievement of training standards
  • Efficient organization and completion of administrative responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Sell current and potential new oncology therapeutics to fulfill sales strategies
  • Provide clinical support/information as needed
  • Achieve sales quota
  • Conduct business analysis and actively prospect for new business within assigned territory
  • Develop account strategies with District Manager to increase sales (identify key accounts, HCPs, specific penetration plans)
  • Develop customer-specific pre- and post-call plans including objectives, probes, and supporting materials
  • Build customer dedication and cultivate new relationships
  • Influence decision-makers with targeted sales messages based on accurate clinical information, using approved sales/marketing materials, and executing local marketing strategies
  • Use resources appropriately and collaborate with JNJ Innovative Medicine team members/counterparts to share ideas and enhance business results
  • Maintain strong knowledge of assigned specialty products and markets relevant to internal/external customers
  • Develop complete understanding of health care delivery system in each assigned account
  • Maintain knowledge of reimbursement, sales potential, patient mix, Managed Care, Specialty Pharmacies, and new protocols/modalities impacting business
  • Attend and participate in all required sales meetings
  • Complete all required training and administrative responsibilities efficiently
