Requirements

  • Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university. Alternatively: Master’s degree and 6 years of experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience, or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
  • Proficiency in using Excel for spreadsheets, tables, graphs/plots, building and editing calculations and formulas to analyze data
  • Proficiency in using PowerPoint for building, editing, formatting

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analyses of hardware and software throughout the enterprise to track and identify obsolescence conditions
  • Research End of Sale and/or End of Life conditions
  • Develop and present creative and thorough solutions to mitigate or resolve obsolescence conditions
  • Frequent contact with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and cross-functional product teams
  • Present potential courses of action to management, task order leadership, and the government customer for approval
  • Coordinate with impacted product teams to ensure understanding and full implementation of approved courses of action to resolve obsolescence conditions
  • Frequent coordination and support of other members of the Sustainment Product Team
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required
