Position Overview

At Lilly, we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. We are a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our employees around the world work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and give back to our communities through philanthropy and volunteerism. We give our best effort to our work, and we put people first. We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.

Lilly is a global healthcare leader that unites caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. We were founded more than a century ago by a man committed to creating high-quality medicines that meet real needs, and today we remain true to that mission in all our work. Across the globe, Lilly employees work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and give back to communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.

Global obesity rates have tripled since 1975, and the UK ranks among the worst in Europe. In the UK, it’s estimated that around 1 in 4 adults are living with obesity. It is a serious health concern that increases the risk of many other health conditions and negatively impacts both quality of life and mental health.

While some patients seek help from their GPs to help them with their obesity, still the system is not fully ready to understand that obesity is a chronic disease and needs treatment. Therefore patients with obesity may try to find help in online services, pharmacies or simply go to those HCPs where obesity is properly understood and treated and they can get the help they need.

The CWM B2B Manager plays a key role, responsible for driving considerable growth within the private and public healthcare sector. This will be achieved by compliantly building impactful business partnerships that deliver strong value propositions for all parties, with high-quality patient care at the core of our shared objectives. Candidates should expect significant face-to-face engagement with external stakeholders across multiple healthcare providers in the private and public metabolic health sector.

The role will require an entrepreneurial mindset to drive strong and consistent sales growth, while remaining fully compliant with Lilly’s ethical engagement procedures. Experience in impactful external engagements in the market would be favourable to enable accelerated business growth alongside high-quality, holistic patient care.

Key Responsibilities

The core deliverables for the B2B Associate Director include (but are not limited to):

  • Mapping the ecosystem with clear patient flow and touchpoints that patients with obesity follow.
  • Identifying development / commercial opportunities for Lilly with private/public healthcare compliant and meaningful partnerships to advance high-quality & holistic patient care.
  • Developing and executing operational plans to maximize identified business opportunities.
  • Ensuring product is listed and available for prescription by HCPs for patients seeking treatment with private and public healthcare providers.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key healthcare providers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Mounjaro Brand Lead and cross-functional team, both in the field and in head office, to deliver ambitious results for patients and for our business.
  • Effective communication with internal business stakeholders, including clear, accurate, and data-driven reporting on performance as well as insightful commercial learnings.
  • Effective engagement and partnership with the NE HUB B2B team to share and replicate best practices across the Hub and Nordics.

Required Competencies

  • Experience in building sound partnerships that drive results.
  • Solid field experience of executing strategies with excellence.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
