Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible Physician (MD/DO) in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Gynecology (preferred), with unrestricted license in the state of New York
  • Able to provide primary care and support all aspects of women’s health with compassion and empathy
  • Adept at providing primary care services to women, including preventative care, hypertension management, diabetes management, urgent care concerns (e.g., coughs, sore throat, abdominal pain), basic dermatological condition management, STD screens, UTI & vaginal infections consults, pelvic pain, vaginal bleeding, birth control counseling, etc
  • Motivated to elevate women’s care using a shared-decision making approach
  • Comfortable managing a variety of clinical cases with curiosity, warmth, and collaboration
  • Facile with technology and interested in developing new technology to support clinical care
  • Data driven, incorporating new and evolving research into practice
  • Excited about teaching and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team (e.g., nurse practitioners, acupuncture providers, support staff)
  • Tolerant and inclusive thinker
  • Passionate about comprehensive primary care for women; available for part-time or full-time in NYC area clinics

Responsibilities

  • Provide affirming primary care for women, including preventative care, holistic primary care, acute and chronic disease management
  • Deliver direct patient care as a critical member of the interdisciplinary care team
  • Teach and collaborate with team members, including nurse practitioners, acupuncture providers, and support staff
  • Partner with Tia technical teams to contribute to the technology life cycle of products and tools used for patient care
  • Collaborate with care team members to ensure every patient receives excellent care
