Requirements

Ability to work part-time hours (at least 24 hours per pay period), day shift (3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.), including rotating weekends and holidays
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize all dishes, kitchen utensils, and cookware as prescribed by facility policies
Follow exact specifications and instructions for Infection Control
Operate dishwashing machine in accordance with manufacturer’s and supervisor’s instructions
Adhere to the proper use of chemicals to ensure food and work safety
Inspect all equipment for cleanliness and ensure it is in good working condition
Prioritize cleaning food delivery carts during meal service and bring them to the kitchen area
Complete daily cleaning schedule
Perform other cleaning duties as needed or as assigned by supervisor
Maintain a safe and sanitary work area
Keep complete and accurate records of dishwasher temperatures and cleaning duties
