Responsibilities

General operation of the dish room and serving areas, including preparation of all foods
Obtains, inventories, and serves hot and cold foods, and replenishes hot and cold foods
Records temperatures of hot foods, refrigerators, and freezers
Assists with the collection and maintenance of other records as needed by the Quality Assurance Department, OSHA guidelines, or as required by law
Cleans and stores various cafeteria items including dishes, flatware, utensils, and pans
Assists with catering functions including assembly, set-up, delivery, and retrieving of necessary items
Manages all cafeteria inventory including restocking, pricing, labeling, and vending machines
Completes assigned daily cleaning schedule within department including individual work area, other equipment used, and storage areas in accordance with set department standards
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
