Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master of Science in Nursing, an active Nurse Practitioner certification, and an active RN Compact license in the state of Tennessee. They must also hold a current, active Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee and be able to prescribe medication as permitted by state authority.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with physicians and providers to develop complex care plans, provide urgent healthcare via telephone and telehealth, gather medical histories and conduct physical exams, implement treatment plans, identify and close care gaps, educate patients and families on various health topics, maintain patient medical records, participate in continuing education, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
