Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required, secondary education preferred
Preference given to applicants with 1+ years office experience and those with prior accounts payable or bookkeeping experience
Basic computer skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with SAP software is a plus
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills required
Must be self-motivated and able to work with little to no direction/supervision
Willingness to work third shift (10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, with Saturday work as scheduled)
Ability to cross-train in all areas/shifts in the office to provide vacation and sick-day coverage

Responsibilities

Daily, weekly, and monthly balancing of hog procurement
Training to write procurement checks based on grades, yields, and “contract” payments
Prepare paperwork for incoming loads
Maintain, distribute, and file reports and paperwork
Assist producers and buyers to resolve problems with payments or yields by researching issues and working with corporate
Other duties as assigned
