Requirements

Strong skills in building software at a product company and solid language design skills
Good knowledge of downstream query targets (Postgres, ClickHouse, DuckDB, Athena, etc.)
Experience building compilers and/or interpreters
Experience writing complex ANTLR grammar
Programming and SQL skills (Python and C++ are a must, SQL is a must)
Experience with Rust is welcome
Proactive and able to work with autonomy

Responsibilities

Building and expanding language capabilities (e.g., adding support for objects into the Hog language, adding the create table statement to the data warehouse, improving the select SparkLine query tag)
Keeping up with the latest developments of downstream query targets
Documenting languages thoroughly
Making decisions on what to work on due to high autonomy
