Position Overview

Dane Street, a national provider of Utilization Review services, is expanding its physician panel. This telework opportunity offers physicians a chance to earn supplemental income by providing medical necessity reviews for treatment requests and appeals. The caseload is customizable to your schedule, with most reviews taking approximately 15-20 minutes.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted New York Medical License
• NY Workers Comp Board Certified
• Specialty: Neurology
• Active Practice Board Certified

Responsibilities

• Address the medical necessity of treatment requests.
• In appeals, address the medical necessity of previously denied services.

  • For necessary peer-to-peer calls (adverse determinations), Dane Street’s peer coordinators secure provider availability.
• Training and Support:
  • Initial training and ongoing support are provided.
  • Training and onboarding can be completed in less than 1 week.
