Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, project management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Project Manager I: 0-2 years experience with degree or 2-4 years experience non-degree
  • Project Manager II: 3-4 years experience with degree or 5-7 years experience non-degree
  • Project Manager III: 5+ years experience with degree or 8+ years experience non-degree
  • Basic understanding of the new product development process
  • Facilitate team meetings and coordinate project execution with all team members
  • Assess and understand project risk to create mitigation plans
  • Occasional travel
  • Mainly onsite with some flexibility of hybrid. No remote!
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from conceptual approval through completion
  • Create a work plan for each phase of the project with input from resource managers and project team members
  • Develop and manage project schedules
  • Ensure project documentation is created, meets standards, and is properly maintained according to established procedures
  • Collaborate with other project managers to manage resources and project needs according to corporate priorities
  • Develop and review project requirements with key stakeholders to ensure project scope is accurately defined and managed so that cost and profitability goals are met
  • Track and report project budget
  • Drive key and timely decisions required to meet project objectives through cooperation with other team members
  • Address project-related conflicts and issues in a direct and effective manner
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes
  • Coordinate project communication between team members and organizational stakeholders
  • Seek guidance from supervisor and senior level team members related to new assignments and complex decisions
  • Meet or exceed typical expectations for leadership, productivity, and safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including managing special projects unrelated to new product development
