Requirements
Candidates must possess an active New Jersey medical license and be board-certified. Prior experience with Utilization Management (UM) and Prior Authorization processes within UM platforms is required.
Responsibilities
Physician reviewers will evaluate treatment requests and previously denied services for medical necessity according to MCG guidelines. Responsibilities include conducting reviews based solely on medical criteria, producing approximately 40 cases per day, and participating in peer-to-peer calls when necessary. Reviewers will utilize a laptop to access the client's AWS system and must be available for an 8-hour shift between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
