Responsibilities

  • End-to-end business ownership of sustaining products through lifecycle management
  • Support cross-functional teams in sustaining HDD products and continuous improvement initiatives to gain business benefits (supply, cost, quality)
  • Collaborate with functional engineering, manufacturing, quality, and business teams to ensure program success
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business (cost, shipment, etc.)
  • Analyze business scenarios to guide team members for the right decisions
  • Act as accountable focal point for overall product cost of sustaining products, collaborating with finance to define optimized product cost strategy and drive execution
  • In the event of quality stop order, execute SSO process and lead core team to define containment, disposition, drive root cause and corrective actions that meet optimized business objectives (accountable for D4 through D8 of 8D process)
