Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology (or related field)
Over 7 years of hands-on networking experience in a distributed enterprise environment (across the country and in the cloud)
Current IT industry certifications such as CCNP, CompTIA Network+
Fortinet NSE preferred
Strong experience and demonstrated business success with the Fortinet platform, equipment, and solutions
Strong experience with managing, maintaining, and supporting distributed networks across diverse locations and technologies
Strong experience using core network protocols

Responsibilities

Understand and analyze all organization requirements (performance, scalability, availability, security)
Design, configure, optimize company networks (on-premise: manufacturing, office, remote; cloud: Azure, AWS, SaaS)
Manage and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access points, IP addressing, certificates, protocols, VPN, and other networking devices/equipment/resources
Provide troubleshooting and support for complex network issues, with regular status updates to collaborators
Monitor network performance and proactively solve issues using tools (SNMP, packet analyzers)
Perform regular system updates and patching
Provide reporting and clear explanations of network utilization on a regular basis
Collaborate with security team to ensure networks meet cybersecurity and compliance requirements
Collaborate, mentor, and work with team members on cross-team needs
Complete proper documentation (design, configurations, ticketing, work updates)
Provide timely and accurate estimates to complete work
Deliver work within service level agreements and commitments
Automate work via scripting and other methods
Identify, contribute, and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Travel to Re:Build sites as needed
