Requirements

United States Citizenship and Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field plus 8-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6-years, or Associate's degree plus 10-years, or high school diploma/GED plus 12-years of relevant experience
Relevant experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering, including network or system administration
Able to obtain an IAT-I certification (e.g., A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, SSCP)
Strong Linux experience
Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management
Experience supporting hardware installation (e.g., servers and network infrastructure)
Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage
Experience implementing security best practices including PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance
Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C

Responsibilities

Guided by customer requirements, describe a generic network architecture that is device independent and satisfies customer goals and requirements
Create a detailed network design that is architecturally compliant, incorporates Agency standard networking components, meets cost and performance requirements, and adheres to all existing Agency and government regulations
Evaluate new network technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions
Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact
Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions
Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure
Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs
