Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience, typically requiring 8+ years of Network/Test Engineering experience. They should have expertise in High-complexity Networking solutions and implementation strategies, along with a strong understanding of IT and OT convergence. Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network implementations, particularly in ethernet networks, is essential, as is familiarity with network technologies such as STP, VLANs, DTP, VTP, IGMP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VRRP, Flexlinks, ACLs, DLR, PRP, HSR, MRP… Furthermore, experience with Cisco IE/Stratix networking switches and routers is required.

Responsibilities

The Network and Security Project Engineer will provide expert-level guidance to System Test Architects in designing testbed network architectures, configure and validate configurations on Stratix & Cisco devices, master Ethernet standards and Network Technologies, troubleshoot networking related issues, actively participate in the Test process, and collaborate with the Network Architecture and Infrastructure team to align with best practices. They will also stay current with networking technologies and industry trends, summarize and document Test outcomes, and demonstrate curiosity in new technologies. Additionally, they will serve as a leader, teacher, and mentor to guide the team through IT/OT convergence and contribute to the Connected Enterprise.
