Position Overview

Maverc Technologies is seeking a committed Network Engineer to join our team and support our Intelligence Community customers. This role involves analyzing, planning, designing, developing, and implementing system and network engineering plans. You will be responsible for monitoring network activities and ensuring high-quality data transmission.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship: Required
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI+FSP
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or 8+ years of experience with network administration in lieu of a degree)
Linux Experience: Strong experience with maintaining CentOS and Redhat/RHEL
VMware ESXi: Experience deploying and maintaining (100's of) virtual machines on VMware ESXi hosts.
Containerization: Familiarization with basic containerization technologies like Docker and/or Podman.
Cisco Networking: Experience with Cisco networking devices (e.g., Firewalls, Switches, ISRs) including device integration and configuration.
Infrastructure Support: Ability to maintain software development infrastructure supporting multiple environments (networks) in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Security Certification: Security + CE or equivalent to be IAM Level II qualified.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for all customer-facing engagements/interactions, including receipt of specifications, design, testing, and response to service requests.
Debug and test networks, analyze technical projects, perform needs assessments, analyze and/or oversee cost and benefits estimates, presentations, negotiations, installations, problem resolutions, procurements, and multi-vendor product integration.
Provide initial engineering and implementation support of networks to assure proper execution and provides resolution for system failures or degradations as needed.
Provide project management and documentation as required.
Participate in and/or facilitate stakeholder meetings.
Delegate tasks comprehensively and in parts to ensure success.
