Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in natural gas commodity sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. A strong understanding of competitive natural gas markets, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities are required. An entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is also necessary.
The Account Executive will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets for natural gas and energy solutions, prospecting and qualifying new leads, and building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. They will lead compelling sales presentations, manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution, and maximize margins while delivering value to clients. Responsibilities also include staying ahead of market trends, proposing innovative solutions, collaborating on lead generation strategies, sharing market intelligence, and providing weekly sales forecasts and performance updates to leadership.
