Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Economics and Policy, Business Administration, or a related field, and have a minimum of 7 years of experience in pricing and market access, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong analytical and negotiation skills are required, along with demonstrated experience in developing and executing payer access strategies.

Responsibilities

The National Private Payer Manager will develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Canada’s private drug insurance carriers, national pharmacy benefit managers, and key employers to ensure optimal reimbursement for Lilly products. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create access strategies, support payer submissions, and exceed annual brand access objectives. The NPPM will assess and improve private payer account business processes and share insights with internal partners, and will work closely with their colleague to align on mutual brand access strategies and payer tactics.
