This role supports Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management division. The Field Health Economics & Reimbursement Associate Manager II will be responsible for educating facilities and clinicians on device-specific coverage, coding, and payment models to build and maintain economic awareness. This position involves cross-functional collaboration at the customer level to enhance reimbursement fundamentals and patient access strategies.

Location Preference: It is highly preferred that the candidate resides in the Central Time Zone to effectively cover all U.S. time zones.

What You’ll Work On

  • Educate customers on the healthcare landscape to drive product adoption and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with the U.S. sales organization to deliver value-based messaging.
  • Present to diverse stakeholders, including physicians, hospital service line leadership, purchasing departments, prior authorization teams, and billing/coding staff.
  • Deliver approved health economic education to the commercial sales organization.
  • Capture and record customer interactions to track engagement activities.
  • Contribute to corporate-initiated reimbursement strategies as required.
  • Provide insights on market dynamics, customer insights, trends, and challenges in cross-departmental meetings and conference calls.
  • Manage travel and entertainment expenses within the allocated budget.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with employees and customers.
  • Participate in internal business unit meetings to influence strategy and provide recommendations.
  • Adhere to corporate compliance programs and participate in training and continuing education.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
