Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the foodservice/QSR industry, with private label experience being a significant advantage. A proven track record of growing existing accounts and securing new business is essential. A deep understanding of private label program development and national foodservice distribution networks is required, alongside strong negotiation, presentation, and executive relationship-building skills. An entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for results and innovation, and the willingness and ability to travel nationally up to 65% are necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, customer business planning expertise, high-level presentation and facilitation skills, effective cross-functional leadership, the ability to influence across all organizational levels, strategic thinking with problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, excellent organization and time management, adaptability, resilience, a growth mindset, and skills in change management, conflict resolution, and negotiation are also important.

Responsibilities

The National Foodservice Business Manager will own and grow existing national QSR accounts by focusing on category expansion, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. They will drive new business development by delivering innovative, customized private label solutions to national and regional QSR chains. This role involves building and maintaining a strong pipeline using market insights, competitive intelligence, and industry relationships. The manager will collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to meet customer specifications and profitability goals. They will also be responsible for delivering accurate forecasts for revenue, volume, and sales performance, balancing tactical execution with strategic vision, and navigating the Stage Gate process to vet new ideas and assess alignment with current capabilities and product offerings.
