Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience managing and leading operations in high growth hospitality/consumer brands
  • Experience in multi-unit or multi-department management
  • Track record scaling and managing hospitality teams
  • Track record managing inventory and supply chain ordering
  • Experience working in a unionized environment (preferred)
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven operator with pride in delivering amazing hospitality experiences
  • Ability to thrive in high growth environments, under pressure, highly organized, and handle competing priorities
  • Customer-centric mindset with belief in quality products through flawless execution

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and be accountable for 4-5 Blank Street locations, building world-class business and teams
  • Complete all schedules and timecards according to state law and FWW laws
  • Handle timely recruitment of talent for backfills, seasonal peaks, or new store openings in partnership with the people team
  • Own development and growth of teams, address performance issues, and support Assistant General Managers
  • Develop meaningful ties with neighborhood businesses and people to grow local brand loyalty and goodwill
  • Uphold company standard NPS scores by celebrating positives and actioning feedback
  • Champion stores' financial performance, grow AOV, meet sales goals through creative initiatives, and gain team buy-in
  • Maintain operational excellence in store environment, cleanliness, and brand expectations via auditing platform
  • Own all ordering, vendor relations, waste management, inventory counts, and compliance with Inventory Management System
  • Ensure all locations meet quality audit standards
  • Celebrate positive customer feedback and investigate/action negative comments
  • Own underlying P&L for each store, diagnose improvements, drive performance, and operate within labor budgets
