Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience designing electrical circuits, preferably in the Intel x86 or ARM space
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical/problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience with design of X86 or ARM based motherboards, ideally for industrial applications (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop hardware, including circuit schematic design & PCB layout for highly reliable Intel x86, AMD, and ARM based products for industrial applications
  • Improve existing engineering methods as needed
  • Perform electrical testing and troubleshoot issues
  • Manage the technical side of motherboard developments in-house
  • Manage project schedules and continuous improvement for product designs
  • Mentor and guide other Electrical Engineers & PCB Layout Designers
  • Work with the Supply Chain team and Contract Manufacturers to build prototypes
  • Cooperate with Product Management and other teams to identify and evaluate new circuitry and products
  • Establish and maintain all needed documentation, such as block diagrams, checklists, manuals, BOMs, and test plans
  • Participate in improvement activities to ensure product quality
  • Develop test specifications and test scripts in cooperation with internal stakeholders and the Contract Manufacturer (CM)
