The Mold Maker A requires proven experience in operating lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, CNC machines, and welding equipment, along with strong management skills utilizing Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes and ISO 90001 and ISO 13485 standards is also necessary, and the ability to handle tools/equipment including hoists, forklifts, drills, gauges, and more is expected.
This role involves performing complex repairs, maintenance, and modifications on plastic injection molds to ensure efficient operating conditions, analyzing material specifications in collaboration with design and engineering teams, operating Tool Room equipment with outstanding competence and safety, diagnosing and solving problems related to mold cycles, functions within the machine, tools, and accessories, supervising team members on specific mold shop tasks, ensuring compliance with internal quality and EHS requirements, performing reverse engineering of plastic parts and injection molds, and proposing cost reduction projects in machining expenses and successfully implementing them.
