TS/SCI security clearance required; must be SAP eligible
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) required
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on complex systems, preferably within the space industry
Demonstrated experience in risk management processes and techniques
Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle (requirements definition, design, development, integration, testing, verification, validation, and operations)
Experience with systems engineering methodologies (e.g., Agile, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE))
Proficiency in developing and maintaining system architectures, requirements documents, interface control documents (ICDs), and other technical documentation
Familiarity with System of Systems (SoS) concepts, architectures, and challenges
Experience in integrating heterogeneous systems and managing interdependencies
Understanding of emergent behavior and SoS-specific risks
Proficiency in risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring
Experience with risk management frameworks and tools (e.g., ISO 31000)
Ability to develop and implement risk management plans and strategies
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk analysis techniques
Familiarity with space systems architecture, including spacecraft, launch vehicles, ground systems, and communication networks
Understanding of space environment effects on systems
Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., NASA, MIL-STD, ISO)
Experience with modeling and simulation tools for system analysis and performance evaluation
Ability to develop and use models to assess system behavior and identify potential risks
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, WarpCore)
Knowledge of configuration management tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
